I graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University's ceramic degree course in 2012. Following my degree I wanted to become a professional maker but it was several years before I came to really develop and then hone my own style of making and what I hope is an individual ceramic identity. My development was largely as a result of the time I spent on the Starter Studio Programme for early career ceramicists run by Yorkshire Artspace. During this period I had time to experiment in great studio facilities, mentoring from other makers and access to a professional development course that looked at tricky issues such as branding, marketing and pricing.
All my current work is made from my small home studio in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
